Every day in Thailand means a discovery for us of a new exotic fruit type. Here is our top 5 for today:

#1 Mangosteen: the best fruit on earth! Easy to peel, sweet, with a lot of flavour

#2 Dragon fruit: big, colourful, tasty…

#3 Durian: big, ugly, stinky,… Its taste is just ok, but it’s strange even in the way it grows from the tree. Worth trying it at least once.

#4 Custard apple: with a different look than its european counterparts, has a nicer taste when its not too ripe.
Mangos and bananas also have a much sweeter taste in Thailand.

#5 Guava: a long time favourite, Thai guava takes the last place in the list for not tasting as intense as other guava types. It is the poor brother of the magnificent Hawaiian and Egyptian guavas.
